Looking for a new home should be simple. With Verv, you can easily book a viewing or message the landlord directly – no middleman is needed.
If you’ve found a property you like, click ‘Book Viewing’ to send a message straight to the landlord. Ask questions, get more details, and schedule a viewing at a time that works for you. Verv ensures your personal information remains private while communicating directly with the landlord.
When it’s time to view the property, you’ll meet the landlord, take a tour, and ask any questions without pressure from a letting agent. This is your chance to learn about the home from someone who knows it best. If you have more questions afterwards, just message the landlord directly.
If you’re happy with the viewing, simply click ‘Rent Now’ to secure the property. You’ll pay a refundable holding deposit equal to one week’s rent, paid directly to us – not the landlord. If everything goes ahead, the deposit will be credited toward your first month's rent.
With clear and simple terms in place, your payment is fully protected, allowing you to move forward stress-free. Payments can be made online by card anytime, giving you the flexibility you need—no cash or office hours are required.
If referencing is needed, we’ll guide you through it with ease and keep you updated at each step via our online dashboard. Tenant referencing is entirely free of charge.
Once that’s sorted, you can pay your tenancy deposit online. We'll register your deposit immediately and send the tenancy agreement for you to sign digitally—no need to meet up in person or juggle schedules with your flatmates!
Your holding deposit will automatically go toward your first month’s rent. After covering move-in costs and signing the tenancy agreement, you’ll have a secure tenancy with your landlord. Everything you need – from your contract to references – is accessible in your Verv dashboard.
Moreover, our concierge partners handle the essentials like setting up council tax, energy, and broadband, making your move-in as smooth as possible. Just book an appointment with the team once your move-in date is confirmed, and you're all set.
